About the Role

Critical Mass is seeking a strategic Talent Acquisition Manager to lead and scale our recruitment efforts across Latin America, with a primary focus on Costa Rica. This is a key role responsible for developing and executing regional hiring strategies, fostering strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, and driving the success of a high-performing LATAM recruitment team.

You'll work in a dynamic, creative environment where innovation and collaboration are valued, and where building exceptional teams directly impacts our regional growth.

What You'll Own

  • Develop Regional Strategy – Create and execute talent acquisition strategies tailored to local LATAM market dynamics while aligning with global business goals. Think strategically about candidate pipelines and market positioning.
  • Build Strong Candidate Pipelines – Source talent proactively through networking, direct outreach, and modern recruitment tools. Develop deep knowledge of key talent markets and channels across the region.
  • Partner Strategically – Work closely with business leaders across functions to understand hiring needs, provide talent insights, and influence hiring decisions at all organizational levels.
  • Lead and Mentor Your Team – Coach and develop LATAM-based Talent Acquisition Associates. Foster a collaborative culture that emphasizes growth, performance, and continuous improvement.
  • Track and Optimize Performance – Monitor recruitment KPIs, report on progress against hiring goals, and identify market trends to improve team effectiveness and inform strategy.
  • Manage Our ATS – Ensure effective use of our Applicant Tracking System, including job postings, candidate lifecycle management, and data accuracy to support scalable processes. Currently we use Greenhouse but will be shifting to Workday in the New Year, so experience in Workday would be an asset.
  • Champion Employer Branding – Build Critical Mass's reputation as an employer of choice across digital agency talent networks in LATAM.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, preferably in high-growth or digital agency environments
  • 3+ years of experience leading and scaling recruitment teams across geographies
  • Deep understanding of the LATAM talent market, including sourcing channels, cultural nuances, and employment landscape
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence at all organizational levels
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems - Greenhouse and Workday
  • Strategic mindset with strong analytical and communication skills
  • Genuine passion for building teams and developing talent
