About the Company
Our partner is a venture-backed healthcare technology company building AI software for health systems. The team is small and growing quickly, with an established product, live enterprise customers, and a conference and events motion already in market. Marketing has been run by the leadership team to date; this role takes it over. The Opportunity This is the first dedicated marketing hire at the company, reporting into leadership with complete ownership of brand and narrative. You will decide how the company tells its story, and you will do it hands-on rather than through a team or an agency. The work spans three areas. Product marketing and storytelling is the core: voice of the customer, testimonials, and case studies, kept tightly aligned between product and customer success. Field marketing is execution against a conference and executive-dinner strategy that already exists. ABM, SEO, and GEO round it out, driving strategic campaigns and search presence. Success is measured by pipeline influenced and competitive deals won, not by marketing activity metrics. Responsibilities
- Own product marketing end to end: customer stories, testimonials, and case studies, sourced proactively from customer data and conversations
- Write and own the company's LinkedIn presence and website copy, working alongside existing designers
- Define and sharpen positioning and messaging for an enterprise healthcare audience
- Execute the field marketing calendar: conferences, executive dinners, and events
- Run ABM campaigns and own SEO and GEO presence
- Build trust in the market through events, community building, and strategic partnerships
- Pitch reporters and manage inbound press interest
- Partner with designers to craft materials that meet a high visual bar
Requirements
- 3-5 years of B2B marketing experience
- Enterprise healthcare marketing experience, with an understanding of how health systems buy and who the key influencers are
- Growth-stage startup experience wearing multiple hats
- Strong writer: case studies, LinkedIn posts, and long-form content
- Ability to distill complex technology into simple, repeatable narratives
- A clear point of view on design and visual identity
- Comfortable with hands-on execution, including writing, organizing events, and pitching reporters
- Able to work onsite in New York five days a week
