A cover letter written from your own facts

Second Summit writes a letter for one job from your resume and a few optional answers, then checks it against what you told it.

What it does

  • Writes a letter for the job you open, using your resume and up to three optional questions.
  • Checks the letter against your resume and your answers, so it does not claim what you did not say.
  • Lets you change the tone, ask for a change in plain words or write it again.
  • Downloads as PDF or Word, or as one file with your tailored resume.

How it works

  1. Step 1

Open a job and its Cover letter tab. Your letter is written there from your resume.

Questions

Where do the details in the letter come from?

From your resume and the answers you give. If an employer is not named in a posting, the letter says "the team" instead of guessing.

Do I have to answer questions?

No. The three questions are optional, and you can write the letter at once with whatever is filled in.

Can I change what it says?

Yes. Change the tone, ask for a change in plain words, or write it again.

Can I send the resume and letter together?

Yes. Download them as one PDF file, or as a Word file for the same job.
