Your resume, rewritten for one job

Pick a job and Second Summit rewrites your resume around what that posting asks for, using only what your own resume supports. Then it shows what an applicant tracking system will find.

A job's ATS tab on sample data with the score, the bars behind it and the keywords found and missing. The skills gap view on a phone with sample data.

What it does

  • Rewrites your summary, bullets and skills around the keywords in the posting.
  • Checks the result against your own resume and removes anything it does not support, then notes what was left out.
  • Shows an ATS check: keywords found, keywords missing and how cleanly the file reads.
  • Lets you tick a missing keyword you really have, with "I do have this".
  • Downloads as Word and PDF files that match the resume on your screen.

How it works

  1. Step 1

Open a job and press Tailor my resume. A short summary says what changed.

Read the ATS check: the keywords found, the keywords missing and how your file reads.

  3. Step 3

Look at the skills gap on your phone: what you already have and what to emphasize.

Who it is for

  • Unsure what a screener sees

Questions

Does it invent experience?

No. After writing, it compares the resume with your own and removes anything your resume does not support. The notes say what was left out.

What is the ATS score?

An estimate built from keywords, how cleanly the file reads, the job title and the content. It shows what a screener is likely to find. It does not predict what any one employer's system will do.

Can I change the result?

Yes. You can edit the resume, ask for a change in plain words and download it as Word or PDF.

What if a missing keyword is something I really have?

Tick it with "I do have this". The next version includes it, and your profile remembers it.
